So how's it going. Found some (pretty much) rust in the floor of my car today, so there will be more work than I anticipated :? So I had to look in your thread for inspiration :)

Yep, great work being done there Tjaard. Once again I wish I had the patience and skill to undertake somethng like that myself.

I don't think there is much work done since the last update, they prepared some more parts for painting ... and they are working on the engine compartment ... I am in no hurry ... :wink:

I don't do a lot of work at the moment ... searching parts and buying stuff ... all other work is done for me, and I glad for that as I don't have the skills to do bodywork ... :oops:

My girlfriend likes Mercedes more but I hope that will change once I found a nice E30 325i for her ... :wink:

Update ...

The paintwork will be finished within a few weeks, so I can put it together again ... ah, let the fun begin :mrgreen:

hi Tjaard,the car is looking beautiful.i am very interested in the colour you will be spraying it,as my '82 316 looks to be the same orange colour.
do you know its colour code so i can buy some the same? or how could i find out?

The car is actually red ... Hennared, colorcode 052. It will be red again, although I have to say I also like black or silver a lot ...
