I am working that weekend so you could use the facilities but I won't be around, weekend after would be better except I'll be going to football saturday afternoon. Maybe do the deed on Sunday 11th ???

And now offered a 318i M10 + fuel pump w/90k. Had a new cylinder head fitted in 2004 @ 45k at the dealership with a few other jobs (£1200+ of work :shock: ). £350. Argh! What to do?!

The E21 engine is a direct swap in, swap carb over it runs.

E30 one you will need tanks off to run another fuel line, bit of wiring to do, but nothing too hard.

E30 motor may make a bit more power, could make a lot more if fettled, but it all comes down to money in the end.

If you have £350, you could go for the E21 engine and save £200 for something else!

Good point! I need a set of tyres for the alloys I got off Nas so that would do nicely.
