cheers lads

It was a heavy session of arch lip cutting / rolling and they only just fit in with maximum rear camber dialled in and even then you still get a little rub on the tyre side wall when you floor it - i guess ill need to put some stiffer springs at the back -
my mate in the e30 i was convoying with took the rolling shots. Its well wierd seeing a pic of yourself driving down the road when its not taken by a speed camera!

no mate - we cut the 1 inch lip down and then rolled the remainder upwards. no scaffolding pole.

done by a local guy who specialises in 'dubs for like the last 20 years or so - all sealed up and rust proofed - no damage whatsoever

nige - they are 15x8's and 15x9's they are probably the max you can go on a standard arch i reckon.

(cheers mark has made a big difference to the look)

sold the bbs. the low n slow bump scrape got very tedious after a week.

so i flogged the alloys and put my old ones back on. hello again comfort, decent handling and no scrapey scrape!! :)

today i picked these bad boys up from the depot can't wait to fit them.

well i need the intake from the 2.5 as well as the sump. im going to fit the old 2.8 intake and sump back on the 2.5 and stash the engine in my lockup.

i had a good think. they are not worth much money but being an early non vanos, iron block with mostly forged internals. It would make an ideal candidate for a future project such as a 400hp e28 turbo. which, at the moment is what im thinking my next project should be after i finish the e21.
