Apparently all roads lead back to YB filters - the ones I rang this morning were only going to order in from them, being the main stockists. Had to bite the bullet and hope they get a move on with shipping. The price wasn't too bad, but even better I found a 10% discount code if anyone wants to use it in future;

they might stat 4-6 days but i bet if they have one in stock it'll be 2days.

anyway weve got bigger fish to fry in getting it running. making a bracket to mount the afm etc. if its ready to roll we'll cable tie some tights around the inlet or sumurt.

Mark you are in danger of being banned from the forum with your filthy mind.

I am working this weekend, can let you in but will have to head in to work. I agree it's dragging on and needs finishing, if only because I need to look at the brakes on the slug before trackday on 4th November, and on the rare occasions I get into the unit I keep getting distracted by Jason's car!

If you can give me a definite time that one/both of you can arrive at I will meet you at the unit before heading in to the hospital.

Excited to be back on the road again! I think I've forgotten how to drive.

What time is best for you Jim? I'll be on time this week as I think our Bullingdon friends have left town!

I'll have the wench's camera Murran, under strict orders only to use it with clean hands though.. Left black handprints all over the handrail on the stairs last week and got in trouble.

I normally come in to do a ward round and find people sat waiting to go home so I don't like being in too late in the morning. Can you get to the unit for 9AM, with luck I can get into work before 10, sort things out and be back to see your car up and running.

You do of course need a plan for the MOT/tax situation.

9 it is.

I didn't know whether to risk driving it back here and taking it for MOT at my usual place or taking a day off work this week to come up and take it to the guy you mentioned across the road? (Safer option I think). I can tax over the phone as soon as the MOT is in hand.

[edit] Just read up on it.. As long as the MOT is prebooked with the garage I can legally drive it there. Means I'm not going to be able to move it till one day in the week I suppose?

John

I may have a spare control arm, probably have a split boot, but I/we can have a look on Sunday.
