hello from a western australian newbie

Post by westaussie323i »

Hi All

Just found myself a one 1982 323i 5 spd eurospec with 154,000km and FSH going back to new and finished in Henna red and garaged everyday.....wow what fun she is to drive! the 380SLC restomod will take a back seat for a while. I will be looking to upgrade the suspension and wheels but apart from that will be keeping it stock with perhaps a nice stereo....any suggestions would all be greatly recieved

Shane

hi Jeroen
Going to take a few pics of the car after my espresso...and you know we even have electricity and colour TV over here in WA  but not many good E21's although a few months ago I did spot TC1 Baur at my local shopping centre but didnt get to talk to the owner and I look for it everyday.

Thanks for the welcome and I will post pics a bit later

Great to welcome another Oz e21. Too bad WA is such a long way from the eastern states as we have a few things planned for 2012. Love henna red (don't have one!). Minor lowering of the suspension and good choice of tyres make the car just a little better. Be careful with the wheels to get the correct offset. Enjoy the ride (hope it is air conditioned for WA summer).

Hi Shane, welcome! Sounds like a nice Bimmer! Personaly I cloudn't care less about a car than a MB, but a 380SLC is also a nice ride!
