Weber 38 DGAS

Post by redline »

So my weber arrived from UK 3 weeks ago and last week I got it installed. Now the air filter box is raised so much that it is in contact with my bonnet (hood to some) and my Hartge strut bar would fit anymore!!!!!

I am now looking at fitting a K&N type filter type assembly. So I have 3 questions for anyone who has done or have knowledge of this.

1 Anyone know that part/kit of the K&N filter box?
2 I have also found out that K&N have this WEBER AIR FILTER PLENUM KIT for 32/36 DGV & 38 DGAS. Is this any good? How do fit the air filter to the plenum kit? Has anyone tried this and any pixs to share?
3 in the above 2 senarios, where do I connect the oil vent hose and the vacuum hose?

Thanks in advance

Vacuum hose usually connects to inlet manifold afaik? Webcon here in the UK usually sell a K&N type filter. I think Petrosf is about to fit a similar item himself?
