You can drive over in your barge to fix our BMW's Mate. Like riding a bike, the skills are never forgotten. When I left you to work on my Baur whilst rushing off to deal with the kids etc I knew there was only one mechanic in the world who could be left with a pile of oil encrusted BMW parts and build a working car through knowing which bit went where. You have been a legend Sir, and it has been a pleasure knowing you/owning same brand of car.

Let us know how you go on with the Audi - is there an audibarge.com website?????

Tis a sad day John. You have been by far the most helpful person on this forum (and any other forum ive been on) And you've always been willing to lend a hand for bugger all in return. Im hugely grateful for all the help.
Stick around though! i may be needing your skills for a track weapon in the near future. Could possibly even be a joint venture.... you aint far away  You'll have to have a ride up to the fantasy factory in the tank sometime soon anyways. How long till its on the road ?

Many thanks!!!!!

Will you stop being a puff Murran!? Joking aside, yes I'll miss your sense of humour and technical knowledge. I'm sure you will come back and visit, but when you don't have an E21, it's less of a likelihood of that happening.

Why don't you go on a nice cruise across the Atlantic in that Audi of yours, then sell up and get another E21?

Big comfy cruiser would be a 4.2 A8 with heated seats etc. Mine had far too many things wrong with it and cost a fortune to run, but now the weather's getting colder again I bloody well miss it!

Ahhh I was shocked to see you were up and selling your E21. I hope you thrash and enjoy the audi similarly, no cruising just cause you've got a barge!

I'm glad you're gonna stick around the forums though mate! I've probably said it a thousand times but thanks for all the help and advice (that goes for everyone else on the forum too).
