Must see movies for petrolheads

Post by Jeroen »

Hey guys how about some tips for recharging the true petrolhead in the months of winter? Please no youtube burnout clips

Let me start off with some classics I guess we all saw many times already:

Bullitt (1968), starring Steve McQueen, Ford Mustang
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062765/

Le Mans (1971), starring Steve McQueen
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067334/

Ronin (1998), starring Robert De Niro, Jean Reno and BMW M5 (E34) and a few 525's and 535's as stand ins
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0122690/

Senna (2010)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1424432/
Watched this one yesterday. Remains very special to me as I was lucky enough to meet him many moons ago.
Film is nice but man, appears Balestre and Prost were even worse than I remembered, incredible how much them frenchies were able to influence the game :wtf

Hmmmmmm there's a lot I have yet to see! Hope we have a long and cold winter lol, well rather not actually.

But thanks for a bunch of great suggestions, hope we can all use that for more viewing pleasure. And no one suggested "Gone in 60 seconds" of "The fast and the furious". Especially the latter is a sad excuse for a movie.
