Adapting an e30 rear lip spoiler to e21

I want a spoiler for my soon to arrive car - '82 e21. Having looked far and wide, has anyone ever adapted an e30 rear lip spoiler, such as this one:

to their e21?

Anyone any idea whether it might work?

im 90% sure that the e30 will go on, the best thing to do is ask the seller how wide the spoiler is between mounting points and then measure your own boot.

I don't think that this will fit. The E30 boot is much more square than the e21 boot. That one is more round.

get a proper e21 spoiler.

+1; IMHO E30 spoilers never look quite 'right' and E21 lip spoilers are still to be found.
