Guys
On my 323i with hartge setup i am struggling a bit to set the correct ignition timing..
Ignition standard setup on the mark doens't work that well on the hartge .. engine overheats and doesn't go further as 5700rpm but on the other hand it runs smooth through the whole rev range exept in the highest regions.
Ignition set 2° in advance and now the engine doens't overheat any more and revs till 6500 rpm .. but drives chabby between 2000 and 2500 rpm .. under and above everything is fine..
How do I set the ignition correct on my slightly prepared engine .. vacuum line disconnected but then ?? camshaft is the original 280°/280° schrick
mark?? madhatter?? anybody else??
Thx in andvance
Gerrit
