Parts goldmine!

Post by mupetmagnet »

Hi everyone

im pretty sure alot of you will already know about these guys but i thought id post up just in case some dont.
i went to a company called Wallth u Nesch (http://www.wallothnesch.com) today to buy some clear indicator lenses and whilst i was there, one of the guys kindly showed me around. The place is just full to the rafters of parts they have produced for everything from e9's, 2002's, e12's and of course e21's ect and from what ive seen at a pretty reasonable price. there really helpful and friendly and the guys who own it speak very good english.

whilst i was looking round the guy also showed me his, 1 owner from new, lime green, 30000km 316 which was absolutely immaculate, ive never seen anything like it!

he was also kind enough to give me a full parts catalogue (pics below) of everything they do, and from what i can see, is pretty much everything.

A few disappointing notes though...

- in several cases your local dealership might be cheaper, at least here in Holland that's the case

- especially the past 2 years WN have moved from OEM NOS only to supplying cheap replica stuff too leading to a lot of problems which I experienced myself as well. Many mechanical parts are rubbish like propshaft flex discs that are too soft, gearbox brackets that are drilled the wrong way, alternators breaking down within 3K kms (no warranty!), chrome parts where the chrome wears out faster than you can say Meallan Liath Coire Mhic Dhubhghaill and we have several other reported issues.

I won't be ordering from them anymore as they have caused me enough trouble already (what joy is there in removing your propshaft 3 times huh  ) and they keep denying that there are any problems while several issues are reported from all over the world. Fine, enjoy your cheap parts then...
