I have registered with this forum for quite a while, but did not post, just looking around at other people's exciting project

I am rebuilding my 1981 E21 320/6 bit by bit, which I have owned since end 2008.

Yes I'm back in one piece although still using crutches. The e21 has been gathering dust for several months.

I will proceed with welding some time early next month. I've set the appointment with the welder.

I need help from you guys. Under the accelerator, the floor is gone, there's a rusty hole (quite big).
I would appreciate it very much if anyone here can post clear pictures of the bracket on the floor that will hold the accelerator pedal. What
do you call it? The floor hinge of the pedal? I'd like to give the picture to my mechanic to fabricate.

Is the bracket metal/plastic? I've no idea at all how does it looks like. Thanks a lot.
