E21 wanted for launch of new 3 series

I have had a call from a dealership in the Manchester area and they are looking for an e21 they could use, for display purposes, in the launch of the new 3 series next month.

Anyone interested?

Would they be interested in a Baur? I need to get the paint finished but parking it in a nice warm dealership for a bit would come in handy while I am losing my unit.

Is it Bluebell, or Williams??

Might get confused if they see yours and think it's an e30 inside, then again mine is an e30 under the bonnet!

Maybe more than one car, depends who the dealer is, how much space they want to use etc.

Its only really the dash, gear knob, steering, door cards, seats, original carpet all E21. Actually lit up my eyes when I saw this post, want my little E21 to have some fame apart from thumbs up when driving! But you were first, so no probs. Ideally they have both and it's a shame they're not launching a convertible at the same time or it would have been uber cool.

Mark, if you need anymore pics let me know, some of the parts guys know me anyway as Mr Ahmed. My friend borrowed mine to check up on his 5 series that was having some work done and the whole of the showroom came out and started having photos taken with my car a couple of years ago!

Sorry Jim, because the other cars are saloons they thought the Baur might not suit. Its a Williams dealership by the way. PM's Mr Arshad and don't forget pics galore please.

My interiors hardly perfect, but they might actually need two. I'm supposed to get a phone call this week, If they ask for another saloon, I'll give you a shout

Nice one Arshad... Pics would be my main motivation too. Unfortunately I reckon they'll think it too scabby at the moment - non standard interior and remnants of shadowline tape over all the chrome! Still, worth a go.

I thought about doing it for that reason but it's just too far away. It'd be cheaper for me to just go hire one instead!
