Bimmerbrother

Post by bimmerbrother »

Hello all,

I registered on this forum last year, because I like all types of bimmers.
I don't own a e21 but I like to follow all the build threads.
I do own 2 E28's and a 2002.
Here are some pics, I hope you like them:
This is my 520i from 1986, a nice family car:

This is my 535i from 1986, just for fun. (The rat look is for the time being, its going to get a respray, but first I'm collecting more Alpina parts for it:

And last but not least, my 2002 from 1974, which I don't use at all but I can't sell it, 'cause I just love it:

Hey... that 520i. I know that car.
For 4-5 years ago almost bought it!
I've still some pics on my computer.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Nice! The rat look E28 must be one of the most photographed cars on both previous Sharknose Meetings, I'd leave the car as is!

When I looked at her, there was a ticking noise. I think it was the camshaft.
She had 81Tkm done

Nice cars sir!

I took the third picture at the Sharknose, nice to see you found that.
That car looks a lot cooler in real life, love the 2002 as well!

That's right! The valves were adjusted to tight for a long period of time which ruined the camshaft. I replaced it and she runs perfect since.
She just passed 100 Tkm recently. Either way, it's the same bimmer we're talking about.

Is your 02 a real Alpina car? Looks good either way.
