new e21 member from ohio u.s.a

Post by abfilio1 »

Hey guys just joined as my local forum doesn't exactly support e21s as much as I hoped. I've owned a various. Few of BMW's... it all started with a 1978 BMW 733i that sadley was totalled. Since then I had many e30s and e36s as well as a few e28s... I kept trying to find something similar to my beloved e23. Anyways I just picked up a 1983 320i in close to mint condition minus interior racaros are 6/10. I'm in the process of fitting a 1989 plastic front bumper to my e21 should be done with pics tomorrow.
Anyways here's a pic of my current e21

and my few BMW's not including them all

First of all a big welcome to the E21 forums!

Now second, I'm a massive fan of the E23 and pretty much all the 1980s model bmws, just love a shark nose. Had a few e23/e28/e30s, but I always go back to E21s in the end.

But you're E21 320i looks pretty good, you just need to get a hold of some euro style bumpers and it would be perfect :D but otherwise all I can really say is post more pics of the e21!! We can never have too many pictures.

Welcome here, some nice cars you have and had. And let's all work together to give you the support to keep your cars going.

BTW there's a Dutch E23 page here, apologise for the Dutch jibberish but it contains lots of nice photos:

Thanks... I have been on the hunt for another e23 but I was 1 of 4 known e23s in the mid west part of the USA.
I know this? Should go into the tech section but is it possible to clear the tierods with a 16x7" 38mm offset? I have a set of bbs rks from my old e30 idk love to put it on my e21
