I've got the fever!!

Well.I finally took a trip up the M11 on Sunday to see the car i've had my eye on.I'd arranged with the guy to meet up at his showroom at 1.30pm..........He didn't show.
Luckily his dad was there and after apologising for the absence offered to take me to the car,which was in another place entirely.I tell you,its f*****g cold in Suffolk.
Three inches of snow to kneel in whilst checking things out.The car is in good nick.Interior is,well,mint.The boot (trunk,for our colonial cousins)is really very tidy.Under the bonnet (hood)its not bad at all.Unfortunately the battery was as flat as a flat thing!I'm assured it goes as good as it looks.And it looks great!
Its had paint on the bonnet (hood) and wings (wings) "just to tidy it up".Also around the rear end.The work is very good.Front bumper is a bit pitted,read "F****d".
I'll ring him tomorrow and see what he has to say...........Watch this space.

Your right.I don't know whats slowing me down.Yes i do.Its that nagging feeling that if i buy this one that another,better one,will turn up.Do you know what i mean?

Collected my new car today.Drove it back from Bury St Edmunds,89 miles,and it drives fantastic.Easily reaches 110 and stays there(i imagine)

Everything works except the auto aerial.There's a dent i didn't notice last week and a bit more paint than i thought.But i'm happy happy.Got some admiring looks coming round the M25 and the gorgeous young treacle in the local BP thinks its really cool.......Thats good enough for me.

I'll start a thread in the gallery as soon as i can,
