drjim...No not yet ! The rusty bit are secondary at the moment as i am in the process of removeing all the parts that reck wants back off the car and fitting all the parts off my other car to recks old car/shell and then my old shell will provide the repair patches/panels needed to make recks old car/shell sound as they are both rusty but it different areas but my old shell would need a lot more time spending on it than recks old one to make the body look neat and tidy.....

Come on Nas get the engine swap started!
Hopefully this weekend we get the ramps and the keys to the new unit.
Spoken too soon! It must be taking ages to fit the marble flooring and swimming pool we asked for!! :(

Marble floor is good for oil resistance but slippery and cold.

Anyway all being well, tomorrow I will go and pick my Baur up from the paint shop where it has been for the last 6 weeks - waiting mainly, he started work on it on Tuesday. I'll let you all know!

Hmm Jimi has reappeared, how are you mate??

Today I looked at it, yesterday I took the roof down and drove to a nice country pub for Mother's day dinner with the family. Tomorrow if the weather is nice I'll take it for a drive again. Could get used to this Baur stuff.

The slug is still festering in the garage waiting for me to connect up the brake pipework, get some fluid in and refit the seat!

Nice one mobster!!! be carfull on the turbo, they are totally different engines from the 996 3.4/3.6 engines and can be real troublesome.... but nice is it a facelift? also how much you pick that up for..., im haveing a serious choice to go for a 996 gt2 or more exotic 360 Modena Coupe but not in a rush currently happy driving in my ferrari red nissan micra Super S ( dont F-----G laugh) but takes mr from a-z faultlessly.. :-)

@bumface3, hey man drive that f-----g car, needs to be driven!!!! :-) make sure you change that oil as its due for its service!! good to hear you still have it..... paint work, maybe yes would be a good idea... .... with M.O.T.s he personally dont but around the corner theres an M.O.T. station he takes his customers cars to after he does work on them that may need an M.O.T
