Cylinder head gasket set

Post by Vic »

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a complete set for my m20 323i and I'd prefer it be genuine parts but dealers seem too expensive, the total including the gasket set (part no 11 12 9 059 248), exhaust mani's, head bolts @ £380! Does anyone have any advice on getting these? or know of any other suppliers?

Any help is always much appreciated!!
Cheers

Vic

For that price you may as well put a 325 in it !

You could try Walloth & Nesch in Germany.

Just get a Reinz or Payen head gasket from ECP the 320i/520i gasket is the same, even for E34 engines. Buy the inlet, exhaust and rocker cover gaskets from BMW.
Head bolts are about 15 quid a set from ECP - you'll need the later Torx stretch bolts anyway.

Alternatively, try Misterauto.co.uk
