is it possible to remove the bits of the front seatbelts that fasten into the clips? its just if i could change them for ford ones which the seats are for i wouldnt have to take the old clips from the original seats

Not without unstitching the webbing.

Balls, was hopeing for a cheap fix. Dont think theres any way i can take the belt clips off the old seats and attach them to the cobra's. Just spent tons of keesh on the bike so im brassic at the mo.

Not sure if anyone will know but....will most ford belts be the same connections ? eg the size of the clips and inserts ? The clips on these cobras are from a mk5 fiesta i think

Don't know if this is to any use of you, but the rear seatbelts clips also fit the front. I wanted a sports seat in my car (didn't happen). Didn't want to take the old clips of the seats, so I took the rear middle one out.

Oooh, good idea mate! I wont be needing them so could use em. Got a belt from a focus too so gonner try that, but dont think it will mate up to the bmw pillar without bodging....that probably aint a good idea when it comes to seat belts
