Grave Robbing

Post by AndyBaur »

I have a 320/6 auto parts car which has been donating some parts to my Baur. I believe it's an '82 model.

It was a runner when it was parked up but it's terminally rusty now (at least it looks it to me). It is still in mostly one piece & I was wondering what rare/unobtainable & even valuble parts I should liberate before it goes to the crusher.
  • Still has the carb which may or may not be the 4 barrel Solex
    Still has the diff
I believe one fuel tank was replaced before lay up
    Dash is uncracked
    Original prehistoric Blaupunct radio!
Dark blue "fabric centre" door trims - undamaged
Colour coded rear spoiler (not sure of the type)
Anything else worth saving?

I know the front panel unbolts but the rest is going to need an angle grinder! I wasn't looking to go that far

Rear light units, trim strips, dash clocks, alternator, starter motor, radiator (do autos have an oil cooler?)

Would be hard to get out but diff, gearbox?

Adding to your list

Tanks (go for a lot these days)
Diff
Rear trailing arms (drums can be used on 2002s I believe)
Front subframe and Engine arms and mounts (for people doing 6cyl conversions on 4 cyl cars)
