how long have you owned your e21

Due to the fact that there are a few of the cars from the forum up for grabs.
It got me thinking how long have people owned there e21
I have owned mine for 12yrs now

Good one! Think we have some more long time owners here! The green car that's been waiting for a restore for ages now is in my posession for 14 years, the silver Baur is with me for 3 years now.

Next monday I got mine for a year...

Sadly in a few weeks, after 14 years of waiting for a drive, again she has to wait to be driven for two years.

11 years for my oz Alpina. Now semi-retired on historic registration in NSW. 4 years for my 323 auto also on historic rego and 7 years for the Baur which is in need of restoration (hopefully 1 day!)

Bought my first e21 in 1990. A henna red 320 with 4 speed box. Upgraded to polaris 323i but went back to 02's and e12, before defected to RS2000 Escorts. After my accident I bought a 2002 auto, which I then sold and bought a 320 Baur, which got modified. Sold when I bought MIB 3 1/2 years ago.

my 323/3.5 ive owned for a least 12yrs, before that i had a stardard 323i when i was 19yrs old that was 17.5 yrs ago in between that i have owned 3 other e21's. from a 316 to a 323i with a 2.5 engine and painted bright yellow..

'77 316: daily driver since '86, driven for 4 years, then as backup, kept for 15 year
'83 315: daily driver for wife, driven from '94 to '05
'80 327i: project car built in '98, still owned and driven 25000km

3 years and a week now for the 323 and a little over 2 years for the Alpina. Had my first 323 in 86. Did`t last so long ;-( 20 year old and to young to drive. Had that felling today also. Some rain here in Oslo and the car slipped a little bit....
