body panel remanufacturing

Post by cobbler2u »

With a geat deal more people restoring their car. They are findind it difficult to sourse the panels they need. As most motor factors dont do bmw e21 panels, or if they do its very limited.

Why not bmw car club or the forum as a group get these panels made up.
That way we can keep our cars on the road.
Just a sugestion as im finding out for myself that this time round restoring an e212 is getting very hard to get panels :wtf

try cars2 in malvern worcester, google it mate, i bought front wings sills and front panel from there, the only real expensive panels you may need are inner arches and boot floor panels which are bmw/walloth nesch panels. are you after anything in particular?

Bought a front wing for about 70 quid from them. Not as thick as original parts but was a decent fit

Especially considering the fact that OEM chromework has gone down in quality big time, but prices have only gone up. The cheaper surrogates, if still available, may be better quality than oem at this point. Very sad conclusion!
