fantastic news

A really good home for the 335i TWR- joining its sister car as well
(we ought to have a subset of 3.5 litre Alpinas and have some beers!!)

Just dropped Herman off at Buchanan BMW Isle of Man for their open Weekend - they are launching a new car -6 series I think

http://www.buchananbmw.co.uk/

Sales guys were dead keen to drop me off home in Herman- declined- got them to drop me off in a demonstrator! Didn't want them driving Herman- being used to modern cars' driver aids they most likely would have ended up in a Manx Hedge (which are made of stone)!

Doing this as the owner (of the franchise) is a chum!

sadly no photos as camera is with GF in England at present

If I see how dealerships treat customer cars here, pedal to the metal with cold engine and driving without displaying any driving skills whatsoever I would never leave my car keys with a dealership, no way. And as with most men, they think they are the next best thing to Lewis Hamilton. Just recently a dealership employee here rolled a brand new M3 trying to show off. Idiots.

fitted my bias pedal box by chopping the standard pedal mount to bits. I need to just brace it up some more but it was fairly painless.

How much did you cut off the cylinder push rods, doing mine I got scared there would be no rod left if I was going to get the pedals comfortable.

Lol not done that bit yet :)

I don't know how much to cut them so Im going to gamble 10mm and see where the pedal sits.
The top of the bias box is as far back as it can go.

I measured my old pedals so Im attempting to get them to live in roughly the same place.

My pedal box is mounted directly on the bulkhead, only way to move it out is rebuiding the firewall. You'll be chopping loads off those rods mate!

Floor mount won't fit, think Jason tried.

Mount onto the bulkhead and cut the rods down - the one I recently replaced has just enough thread to get the locknut on!

Make it with flexi hoses for feed and pressure, fit it all together and bleed out of the car then bolt it in as one lot. Absolute arse trying to work on the things fitted in the car.

I got a message from Mark. I told me that he will keep the TWR. Bad for me and good for Mark.

But I am happy that he want to keep it. Mark: You made my day :banana :cheers

Hmm so now the TWR is staying with Mark. This is like watching a soap opera  Maybe next week Lars will pick it up anyway :cheers
Who knows, if MIB isn't a write off, Mark will put his energy there and might still sell the TWR.
