does anyone have any idea how to put the chrome trims back into the rubber before fitting the windows back into the car?
i spent 3 hours Saturday and still no luck.
PLEASE HELP

I could do with knowing this aswell. Soapy water didn't help![edit] Except my windows are already in..

I think the trim has to be put into tht e rubber befor the window is fitted, I have someone coming out this week to fit a new windscreen so I will be asking him and I'll let you know

Bummer, I don't really want to take the window out to put it on.
I think the trim on the front/rear windows has to be done with a special tool http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=c ... o_id=32141 - from what I've read on here, it sounds like it can be a bit of a bastard to do - even with the tool.

Front/rear windows is a different story, there the chrome trim needs to be fitted after seal and window are in place. Easiest with that special tool but you can also use a screwdriver and more or less zip it in. That's how I've always done it. Some lubricant like WD40 is helpful.
Side windows pop out pretty easily, just pry the seal from the inside and give the window a push. The window comes out together with the seal.

Oh man! What a ball ake! I'll gove it a go over the weekend and fees back... Wish me luck ahaha!
