Motronic conversion

If someone is doing an M20 Motronic conversion in their 320/6 do they need the 323i loom or is their original loom suffice. I know they need the engine loom from the e30 and ecu etc but it's the loom from the car I need clarification on.

Used the car loom on my Baur, you just connect 5 wires from the e30 engine loom to the E21 loom. I kept the e21 stuff and we just spliced in to the bit after the engine plug, so other side of the C101 connector on the e30 look meaning a couple of wires were different colours to expected. Others have incorporated the e30 c101 connector - maybe because they had it!
