Swapping Headlamps - Singles to Twins wiring

Post by sleeperviva »

Afternoon all

Due to my singles falling apart i've been forced to change to twins, i've roughly wired up one side but before I finish and do the other side I have a question
Is there a simple way of wiring the lamps up so when you hit main beam the dip side stays on? Its looks weird on main beam with only the inner lamps on :nah

Cheers
Steve

simplest way i could think of is, use a suitable amps relay for dipped bulbs.
take a switch wire from main beam cable to activate the relay, t supply into dipped beam cables from relay, find suitable supply post ignition and install inline fuse to supply the dipped beam when activated.

others may have a better suggestion tho.
