e21 323i m50 swap

This is my first post on the forum so hi to everyone.
I have an 81 323 which I finished converting to l jet a few months ago, due to the guy I purchased it off getting lost in the wires. It goes ok but I’m still finding it a bit under powered.
As of a week ago i just acquired a 94 e34 525 wreck as I need a gear box to go in my e34 and i was thinking i should put the engine in my e21 and since it cost me very little it seems like a good way to get cheap power. I had a bit of a look online for info on the conversion but I kept coming up short. I was wondering if there are people here that have done it and can give me a list of things that are needed to complete the swap and what fabricating work is required. Any help would be greatly appreciated cheers.

It's a pain. There are loads of build threads on this site for 24v swaps. Checkout mine, Nas80's, NigeE21, Problemchild etc etc
