My driver's seat is very worn,
some nice chap sorted me out a perfect passenger seat off ebay for £1.
now I need to either swap the mechanisms round or strip the material and re-upholster the existing drivers seat,
If anyone has done this before, any advice on what's easier to do and a few tips on doing it? i'm a bit clueless with anything mechanical but i've got it into my head that i'm going to give it a go myself

I actually did a similar procedure on an E30 seat and the steps shown in Jeroens links were the same. Shame I didn't save the article, except it can be done! If you're trimmer can do it for £30-40 you could always ask him I guess!
