Went and saw my car today and is already starting to look great.

Had a nose around Lemonayds car too. It's really coming along too. Is going to be one of the best out there at this rate.

Paisley finally showed up and took Jims rims. Don't know if anyone else has used them lately but they're bloody useless!

Got my first coat of rust seal primer on the engine bay.

Re-assmebled my brake booster after a good clean and a little paint.

Sweated buckets because it's been 39 degrees here over the weekend!

They're Audi. Yes, decided to break up the black with some grey. I must admit I am pretty chuffed with them.

Got some more colour on the engine bay and made up some plugs for the exhaust and finished off the ceramic paint.

Bright! Curious how long the paint will last though.

It is that ceramic high temp stuff, but can't imagine it'll last all that long.

New badges, clear indicator lenses and tyres arrived today. Can't believe how much all the little details are adding up to. Tyres are the same as used in e30 Production series and I've heard good things, despite the dodgy sounding brand name. (Marangoni Zeta)

http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Maran ... alinea.htm

Opted for 195/50 fronts & 205/50 rears. Also went for Hawk pads as I think they're just about the best available. Best of all, we've binned the linkage in the braking system, so hopefully the brakes will finally have some real bite and feel.

I've just managed to get the slug working, dried out the wiring yesterday, refitted the airbox this afternoon (including capping off an open port on the bottom using a screw cap off a bottle of wine and some glue!). Started on first press of the button, first time it's been started in over a year!
