Though would be a good idea if we let eachother know what we are bidding on.
1 reason is we dont bid against eachother
2 we wont pay over the top for the goods as we are not over inflating the price cos a bidding war.

Thegs beat me to that link. However, ebay now disguises user ID's as far as I can know. I agree with you, except you could also argue that it's an open auction in the public domain and it should just go to the highest bidder. For the record I'm not bidding on that E21 sofa, cool as it is

i know about our ebay policy. But you have no idea who is bidding as 99% of the time the listing never show bidders identity.
