Hi guys,
I need to get quotes for classic.
I've tried Adrian Flux - Pants and Footman James -best quote so far in the region of £280 -300.
Any recommendations?

Chaucer or Lancaster both did pretty good quotes for me.
Mind you, I'm getting old. Also helps to have a garage or drive, plus a Thatcham approved alarm and steering lock.
Make sure to opt for agreed value. It's worth the extra £20 or so.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for that.
A few other guys have told me to try Lancaster, i'll give ema try on lunch.
I plan on getting an alarm immobiliser but there was one company i rang that said it made no differemce to the quote. Perhaps it was due to them stating the car had to be garaged if it was not being used overnight? good thing is i do have a driveway.
I'm 28 so hoping that plays in my favour.. I do remember ringing up for quotes ffor my 323 when I was 23/24 and having quotyes in th thousands....I couldn't warrant that for the amout of driving i did back then.

Limited mileage policies are always cheaper I think. The good thing is you can raise the limit during the year, so maybe get a 1500 or 2000 mile policy and play it by ear? Lancaster give discounts to car club members too I think? Let us know how you get on.

I'm with Peter James for my 316.
I'm 23, and I have an 'M' postcode, which is basically the same as Baghdad in insurers eyes.
They were the best by far for me, and although my car has been off the road for most of the policy, I'm still happy knowing it's well covered should the worst happen.

my e36 318is coupe cost £229 fully comp /3000 miles a year/ standard car/ thatcham security/kept on the drive / with classicline .. lancaster insurance would not accept it on a classic policy due to it being just 15 years old! and wanted £900 . They must have been having a laugh!!.
