e21 1,8i engine swap..for a m43 1,8

i am a new owner of,..a bmw e21 1,8i automatic..
i buy the car..for o few euros...and i want to make it a track day car...
i have a lot of questions...about that car...but let's take it ,one by one
i would like to know....if someone has change ..the m10 engine...with a m43 1,8
i already have this engine in my garage...and i have a homemade compressor kit...for this at about 200hp...
so...i would like to know...if this is possible...how difficult would be...and what changes sould be make..

I can't answer to your question (I haven't any experience with swaps, well...yet ) but I am sure that many in here will be able to.

yes its been done before - you need to fabricate mounts, and use an m20 engine gearbox.

this period...i have made ,,,a lot of research...about the engine swap
i haven' t found anything , for the m43...but there are severals informations about m42 swap..
the m42...and m43,,,are not so diferent...so i think...that i can do it...the same way...
i will use the m20 gearbox...and a m42 oil pan from a e30..i will fabrikate mounts...and try to make it work...

i have no idea why your doing the m43 because im very sure that engine made 120hp maximum - you can get that very easily with standard m10.

unless your planning on turboing but then again you would get the same with m10 engine and m10 engine would be way more simple.

i have a complete engine swap of a m43...and a handmade supercharged kit...with a root type m65 eaton compressor..at about 200hp ..It is all the power i need..for my track day car...
i know...that i can do the same to the m10...but i feel better to programme something more modern...with my perfect power smt7 piggy back...
