steering rack quickener

Post by nas80 »

in my quest to find someone to make me a quick steering rack, google bought up an interesting product

Has any one got experience of this device? seems like a very simple affair?

Looks like a simple enough solution.

They're dual circuit servo look pretty good too.

ah youtube what would i do without you eh? thanks for all the hours you have wasted and the hours you have spent educating me.

think i will go and order one and add it on the list of stuff i have to fit. I gotta say I'm really sick of the slow steering the bmw has, I find that I sometimes overcook a slide because I cant cant turn the wheel quickly enough.

Apparently further reading has said that often a lot of people complain about the extra steering effort - Good jobI kept my powersteering rack!

I have to say, the worst aspect of my E30's & E21 is the slow steering. How BMW could put steering like this into a 'sporting' car is beyond me.

Can it really be so simple to sort out? Certainly sounds easier than a LHD upside down E46 rack.
