The weather has been amazing today, clear skies and lovely, warm sun.
So naturally that meant a day on the BMW.
The boot seal fix "appears" to have worked, so time will be the ultimate test.
The rubber was cleaned with eraser and then sealed with Wolfs Trim Coat:
Plastic trim was über grubby:
Cleaned with eraser and dried with a heat gun:
I still wasn't happy though as there was some overspray from a previous respray:
So I gave it a good coat of black paint.
While that was drying, I cleaned up the boot lock/mechanism:
Nice and clean, again Wolfs Trim Coat on the plastic seal:

Boot took a bit of a fiddle to get it aligned and not catching on the lock, but it's 99% bob on now
