lowering springs
Looking to drop my 83 316 60mm but most kits are for 75-82 cars. Is there a huge difference or is it just because 83 was the crossover year theyr not mentioned? Ie. Will they fit?
Re: lowering springs
Verde,
Main differences in the E21 occured pre/post 79 so the later facelift parts are what you want.
However I think springs and shocks carried through unchanged.
Your car may have been registered in 83 but could easily of been manufactured in 82

Verde, try http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/ and put in the last 7 digits of your chassis number. it will come back with the build date of your car.
