Consumption

Post by petroscf »

What consumption figures do you have ?
would like to see different set-ups and opinions.
What I have noticed recently is from a bad 19mpg with hard accelerations and sporty driving, to a 28.5mpg out of city but mixed mode driving-which means that I might expect better figures with more careful (towards economy) driving.
Engine is the factory 1573cc 4cyl with weber carb, transmission 5speed eco gearbox and 4.11 diff.
Oh, and the tyres shouldn't be (but are) 195/55-15, so I guess I'll have even bigger difference with more suitable 185-something.

1.8 4 cyl, poorly tuned Weber - getting about 28mpg also, but this will drop if accelerating like a knob! [edit] Also with the economy 5 speed, and an even mix of highway/city driving.
