Painting needles
As above...
Ideas?
Yes or no?
Possible problems?
Ways to do it?
I have seen some cars, I can't say I don't like them in bright red or orange, but I haven't decided if I prefer them painted or in mommy white .
However, the vdo gauges (at least the ones I've purchased and am thinking of fitting sometime), have red/orange needles, so I was thinking it might be the time to start considering the painting of instrument cluster needles.
And the biggest question: because of ambient lighting of instrument cluster, are the painted needles going to be bright enough in the night, when lit?

UV LED's and invisible UV paint will net you at least 50 cool points.

nailpolish!
I took the corner at high speed, came in the ditch, drove straight through a garden, flipped over 4 times and then I lost control of my steering-wheel!

Re: Painting needles
Sometimes you have to try things for yourself to figure out if it works. there are smart people over here but you cannot know all the answers on all the questions.
Learn it the hard way by trying it on an old instrumentgauge?

Re: Painting needles
yes you 're right
I 'll try to find one.
It's just that I heard someone sayig that It should not be done, as it increases the weight of the needle and it does not work properly afterwards
