Quarter light windows?

Post by S17ewo »

Is there anyone that makes these for e21s? I will fit some even if I have to hand build them myself but I was just mulling over if there's anywhere that supplies them?

Instead of where your wing mirrors go you have a small window which opens. Like on this beaut.....

The E21 never had quarter lights so I would say given the requirement for custom toughened glass, and that all the frames and runners are going to have to be custom made and plated, you might be better of forgetting this idea!

I don't actually think it's a massive job to make a kit up, runners are easily made at work, glass is easily cut and window rubbers are easy sourced. Nobody ever did anything original giving up at the first hurdle!

Haha loads of the mk1 golf lads fit them, I can't see it being that technical, obviously it depends on if you make them so they open and close but they would deffo be a nice touch

Nice idea. I think they'd look great - kinda kooky.

Haha maybe I'm being alittle schoolboy here. I presumed they were easily sourced but judging by your comment I may struggle! Haha
