Poor man's Edition 'M'?

Howdy,

I was fascinated to see the Edition 'M' as I have a UK 316 that looks very similar- Hennarot, painted mirrors, black Zender spoiler, reflective rear bit between lights and Mahle/BBS cross spokes. The only thing I'm missing is the air dam, although I have it (BBS) in the shed. Oh, also the black stripes. What I'm missing is two cylinders!

UK dealers copying the Edition M for 316s or a 'new' special edition?!

Oh, I had to replace the bonnet recently and so need new stripes- the thicker lower and thinner upper ones- do they have a name? Available? Also present on some lucky man's E12 M535i in my car park.

Interested to know what people think!

Well most likely the 1st owner checked some options to get to that spec, they were all available to all E21 models.

My car had those strips before its respray. I assumed they were after-market! I want them back now!
