Hi all
im sure some of you here have 2002's. can anyone give me a general list of wat to look out for as i have been offered one. Also what et wheels and 4 by .... do they use or can run?

I guess most E21 things count for 02's as well so our FAQ here on the forum may be handy, including the M10 engine stuff. Rust will be your biggest enemy I guess. Believe wheel specs are pretty much the same as well, so you can use that part from the FAQ too.

I'm in the process of acquiring an 02 as well, and the biggest piece of advice I got from a local 02 mechanic was that they can turn into real rust buckets if not taken care of. Inspect strut mounts and subframe mounts as they'll kill your frame if rusty. Also put the car on jacks on the rails, if they crunch you know it's a shot fame as well. Aside from that most everything can be replaced if you have the time/money.
