I actually don't like the one armed wiper that mutch myself.
The problem is that if its two it crawls up on the windscreen blocking my view in high speed.
So thats only practical not cosmetic

I have 218km/t in the end of 4 gear, and thats no problem.
Theoretic 323km/t in 6 gear- now- thats a problem
But in good conditions and long enough track i think 5 gear and 258 km/t is possible- but i will never try that again.
I had 260km/t with my old turbo and I had a hard time breaking down and keep it stabile.
Not recomended,this cars is NOT aerodynamic like a Lambo i'm afraid.
But god damn so sweet

my mechanic has made already 8 swaps of S50 into E30 and a few S54...exactly the same situation. Car is stable until 240-250 BUT, in no way or option don't take the foot of the accelerator pedal at once, you get swimming lessons on the highway Perfectly stable car until you are hard on the accelerator, as you take the foot off, wobbly situation and pants full. Top speed recorded was 290 km/h but he also said, once and never again

And e30 are even more stable than the e21
I guess it will be better next year,
winter project is camber and toe adjustment in the rear...
Together with coilovers in the end it should work fine.

That should do it.
I also have BBS with ET zero rear, that makes the toe in/out even worse.
With aprox ET 15 is should be better,my old blue turbo was better I think.

That or it's just me getting older and wiser

or something else? Because I have the same problem with the rear, rear tyres after 3000 km, inner side 2mm, outerside 6mm...I also have to come up with a solution for next season.

But its easier to just buy a kit i recon.

I also noticed that anything over 200kph indicated (which is about 120mph) its like you go through some invisible barrier, I have nicknamed this phenomenon as the "barrier of reason". I also put this down to the brick shape of the e21, the aerodynamics are a problem.

I found that after I modified the rear beam to make camber and toe adjustable, that when I did a slight bit of toe-in at the rear (1.5/2 degrees I think it was?) and -2 camber and the car height set to very low, the improvement at high speeds was very noticeable.

I have on a disused piece of road I managed to find enough space to get the clocks to show 135mph (220kph?) and the car still was accelerating, I ran out of courage and backed off, never again will I go that fast in an e21, it was very scary

Problemchild by name problemchild75 by nature I may have taken the odd tip off the clock on its shake down voyage. I would like to say it felt planted but the day after I was driving a Toyota yaris thinking wtf this feels the better more sorted car. TBH top speed is not really my bag but there are 65 of us doing a rally across Europe next year and I'm considering using the 21 so 100mph+ cruising will be necessary.
