So got my new dashboard today thanks to BIG LEE and must say I couldn't be happier

It's just a plastic badge stuck on, confused me as soon as I seem it as obviously I've never seen it on any other but then I thought any other dash I've seen is 30 years of so easy could be been picked off by nowpolov8 wrote:Is it flush mounted? It looks like it's been bonded in.

It's probably a keyring roundel. I had a pal who always used to put them on 02 glovebox lids. Use a hair drier to soften the adhesive and it'll come off easy enough.
