I've got a pair of roof bars that would fit, but I've not been brave enough to try them on the car, I just don't want to damage paint or the chrome gutter trim. it just doesn't seem worthwhile!

I would put some thin rubber under the mounts, to protect the paintwork on the gutter. Be careful not to pinch the bolts up too tight as well. :thumbsup

Just buy any roofrack which you can mount on the "gutter" of the roof. Make sure some rubber is applied on the connection faces, this prevents scratches on chrome or painted surfaces.

Some cons are much more noise comming from the roofrack and mounted accessories and mayby negative fuel consumption beause of aerodynamics.

Does it look right, see for yourself...

I took the corner at high speed, came in the ditch, drove straight through a garden, flipped over 4 times and then I lost control of my steering-wheel!

Got a couple of rusty thule bars on mine. Just bolts straight on - any adjustable gutter mounted one will fit as others have said. Noisy but I leave it on as I seem to use it every other week!!
