Hello all. I really hope someone can help. I have an 83 car so the heater control panel is the later design with the knobs to turn rather than the sliders. I noticed today that the knob for changing the direction of the air flow wasn't working, ie I couldn't change where the air went so my windscreen wouldn't demist. On inspection where the cable clips onto the rear of the heater control panel the clip on the panel to hold the cable in place has snapped off so it can't be secured. So i really need a complete heater panel that isn't broken so I can get it working. Does anyone know where I can get one, is anyone here breaking a car, etc. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks ever so much, hope it makes sense. All the best
Joe

Nightmare aren't they! Must be getting brittle with age. Good luck with the search.

I've just replaced the cable just next to that one and it was a total nightmare.
