Hi guys,
Time for 6 months of storage of my car has come. So now my question is how to store the car in the best way. I have a dry and closed garage and I will ofcause put a cover over it.
What I am thinking of is things like change of oil, more tyre presure etc. Would it be any good to start the car now and then?

Re: Winter storage
Usually I don't do that much and my E21 and E30 usually end up being stored for abt 6 months as well. A few tips:
Park the car after a drive and not after a series of small moves, all dry of course
Fuel tank full to avoid rust due to condensation
Tire pressure on 3 Bar
It is not necessary to start the car every month but to have her run for abt 10 mins once after say 3 months would be good. Not just a short start as the exhaust will condensate which again can cause rust
Remove battery, try not to store too cold, and charge once every 2-3 months
That's all I've been doing for winter storage for the past 12 years
