Heater Settings

Post by Reck »

This may be a dumb question but what does the slider on the right side of the control panel do?

I've got hot air coming out of the windscreen demister but cold air blowing on my feet! I want warm air to come out of every vent?

You won't be able to get warm air out of all the vents, see image below for cold/warm outlets (taken from the owner's manual, dark arrows are heated air). But the slider lets (cold) outside air in, so on colder day's you typically leave that one closed (slider to the bottom).

Thankfully you can close those vents blowing cold air!

The darker arrows at the bottom - they're blowing cold air though, even when the windscreen is blowing hot. My slider has become disconnected from the control cable so it's probably drawing in cold air from the outside right?

I just want warm feet as the window demists!
