I have found a very clean Lhd 78 320i auto imported from japan it is about 4000 euro, but it is one of the cleanest I have seen with about 95% shell! a about a clean as it gets without being concours

What is the current rate in Europe for a clean but poverty spec e21

id say buy it mate, as 4k in euro is about 3.5k? Which is for the cleanest car a bit of a deal. I guess the only way to gauge it is by looking on European classifieds / ebay sites probably.

If I'm not mistaken a Japan spec 320i from 78 is a M10B20 with the old intake and these are pretty rare. A clean and original, rust free and low mileage example will fetch more than that. Depends on overall condition.
