Track day insurance

Post by nas80 »

I'm off to a track day at castle combe to have a bit of fun in my e21.

I would like some track insurance, I have been quoted £81 pounds for the one day by Moris but what put me off was the £1080 excess which seems a bit steep?

Wondering if any of you guys know where else to try for a bit of a better deal?

everit appear to be brokers for moris - there probably isn't any difference in rate.

Call Competition Car Insurance.

http://www.competition-car-insurance.co.uk/

Insured my M3 with them and they were very helpful and sensible money. They don't run away crying when you send them your list of modifications either.

Yep, especially not into someone else :innocent

Also worth bearing in mind any insurance will cover damage but not usually breaking anything (cv's, diff, gearbox, engine etc).
