Just been looking on ebay and noticed the strangeat thing.
Since I'm not sure about the rule for posting active ebay listings if you search for 'Bizarre B1011 Alpina'.
Does anyone know anything about the car this model is based on. It has the strangest front end I've ever seen. Just wondered if a real one existed.

Stimmt, this Alpina modified 318i was class winner in a 1981 fuel economy contest sponsored by Shell. Only one built and not in existence anymore afaik, but something special indeed. It is available from manufacturer Bizarre in 1:43, but there aren't too many made. Got mine a few months ago:
