Please can someone tell me what my engine is?

Number is 6739500

It's definatly an m20, that I do know!

Comes out as a 2 litre 320 carb with M20B20 engine produced May 1982

If I can I'd like to stretch your knowledge a little bit more, I just agreed sale on a320 which has the engine above, it has monotronoic injection fitted and looks factory fitted. It's also got a bbs front splitter fitted which was claimed as fitted when new. Does this point towards anything apart from aftermarket fitting?

Then most likely it has seen an engine swap. If you have a picture of the engine bay we should be able to provide more details.
